The House
Built in 1926, this classic cape has retained much of its original character. This secluded getaway offers guests a taste of 'old Cape Cod'. The house has been lovingly used by four generations of our family. Open framed style with wooden beams running the length of the house lend it a unique charm.
Indoor Space
This five bedroom home sleeps 11 comfortably and includes 2 full bathrooms, 1 half-bath, and 1 outdoor shower. Downstairs is a full kitchen with modern appliances and conveniences. There is a brick floor dining room with a large table for family dinners. The spacious living room features a cozy window seat and large working fireplace. The furnished screened-in porch is perfect for gatherings on hot summer nights. There is also a secluded study and den with a separate entrance in the rear part of the house. The house has wifi and a TV with cable access in the back study. Washer, dryer, linens and towels are included.

Outdoor Amenities

Steps lead from the front lawn down to a private beach, allowing for easy access between the calm waters of Nantucket Sound and the house. In addition to a private beach, the house also boasts a large yard and gardens with plentiful shade, chairs for lounging, a picnic table, and views of the ocean. In the back of the house there is also a newly re-surfaced clay tennis court for your recreational pleasure. There is an outdoor shower conveniently located for use after coming up from the beach and an outdoor grill located on the patio in the back garden.

Location
Cotuit is a small, quaint village with its own small local grocery store, library, and post office. It is also home to the Cotuit Kettleers, one of Cape Cods Summer League baseball teams who play at Lowell Park downtown most weekends. Another 2 miles down the road is a larger shopping center with a Stop and Shop, CVS, and liquor store. If you drive 15 minutes in the opposite direction you will find Mashpee Commons – a large outdoor shopping mall with many offerings including restaurants, retail stores, and a movie theater.
Guest Access

The house is located on a private dirt road 2 miles from Cotuit center. There is private driveway with space to park 4 cars. There are no pets allowed on the premises. There are three kayaks available for guest use, but all other boats are off limits to guests.
